Sustainable Digital Infrastructure
DDC acquires land and develops data centres across Ireland and the United Kingdom, purpose-built for a decarbonised future.
About DDC
DDC is a green digital infrastructure development platform focused on developing energy parks that combine renewable energy generation, storage, and data centre capacity.
We focus on opportunities where grid access, land, and renewable energy infrastructure can be brought together to serve the fast-growing and energy-intensive requirements of hyperscalers and large energy users, delivering digital infrastructure that is genuinely sustainable from the ground up.
Our sites are developed as integrated energy parks, combining flexible on-site generation, storage, and advanced grid-services capabilities alongside data centre capacity.
Each facility sources its electricity requirements through corporate power purchase agreements with renewable energy assets, decarbonising energy usage for co-located occupiers.
Energy supply and power management are the most complex part of delivering data centres at scale. DDC brings the grid expertise, generation capacity and relationships to deliver.
First Investment
DDC's inaugural project is the Drogheda Energy Park, the former Premier Periclase facility in Drogheda, County Louth, approximately 40km north of Dublin. The site is a brownfield industrial location adjacent to Drogheda Port, with access to existing infrastructure and significant local support.
Planning consent secured for an initial 36MW data centre, with the site designed to scale as demand grows.
A brownfield redevelopment adjacent to Drogheda Port, making use of existing infrastructure and minimising new land impact.
Electricity requirements to be sourced from renewable energy assets via corporate power purchase agreements.
Our Market
Ireland is one of Europe's leading markets for hyperscalers and large energy users, and is entering the next phase of digital infrastructure development following the Irish Government's recently launched Large Energy Users Action Plan (LEAP).
LEAP is a pioneering framework for enabling the build-out of digital infrastructure in a way that minimises grid impact and supports national climate objectives, closely aligned with DDC's approach and ambitions for the platform.
Ireland's LEAP policy provides a clear, supportive framework for responsible large-scale digital infrastructure development.
Ireland's renewable energy build-out creates a compelling opportunity to co-locate data centre demand with clean generation.
AI-driven demand is accelerating the need for new, sustainable capacity from trusted, experienced operators who can deliver at scale.
